Data deletion

How to stop AuditRoger reading your ad accounts, and how to have everything we hold about you deleted. This covers data from Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads), Amazon Ads and anything you uploaded.

1. Stop access straight away

Any of these ends AuditRoger's access to an account. You don't need to contact us.

  • In AuditRoger: open Settings → Integrations and choose Disconnect next to the account. This deletes the stored access token.
  • In Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find AuditRoger and remove it.
  • In Google: open your Google Account, go to Security → Third-party apps & services, find AuditRoger and remove its access.
  • In Amazon: go to Your Account → Manage your data → Manage apps & services with data access, find AuditRoger and select Remove.

Disconnecting stops new data being read. Audits you already ran stay in your account until you ask us to delete them.

2. Ask us to delete your data

  1. If you pay for a monthly plan, cancel it first: open Billing & credits, choose Manage billing and cancel in Stripe's portal. Deleting your data doesn't cancel a subscription.
  2. Email privacy@auditroger.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my AuditRoger data”. If you connected through Facebook and don't know which address that is, tell us the name of the ad account instead.
  3. We confirm the request came from you, by replying to that address.
  4. We delete your AuditRoger account, the connected accounts and their access tokens, every audit and report, client reports and their lead lists, pre-flight answers, team seats and API keys, and your sign-in.
  5. We email you when it's done, within 30 days of your request.
What we keep
  • A one-way fingerprint of the deleted email address, with nothing else about you, as a record that the request was carried out.
  • Payment records, at Stripe only. Our own records of your payments, plan and credits are deleted with your account. Stripe, which processes payments, is separate: Stripe keeps its own payment and invoice records, under its own policy, for as long as the law requires, and card details are held by Stripe, never by us.
  • Our providers keep backups and logs for their own periods, so deleted data can remain in those copies until they expire.

Uploaded Amazon reports

Search term reports uploaded to the Amazon PPC audit are read for the audit and then discarded. There's nothing of them to delete.
