Refund and cancellation policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

How to cancel, when you can have your money back, and how to ask. The short version comes first; the detail follows.

At a glance

  • Monthly plans (Starter, Agency and Scale): cancel at any time in Billing & credits. Your plan keeps working to the end of the paid period. There are no partial refunds for unused time.
  • First payment on a monthly plan: refundable within 7 days if you’ve used no more than one fresh audit.
  • A renewal: refundable within 48 hours if you haven’t used any fresh audits in the new period.
  • Single Account (one-time payment): refundable within 7 days if you haven’t run a fresh audit, or if an audit fails to generate and we can’t fix it.
  • Credit packs: refundable within 7 days if the credits are unused. Used credits aren’t refundable.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
  • A refund on its own doesn’t cancel a subscription. When a subscription payment is refunded in full and the subscription is cancelled, or set to cancel, access to the plan ends immediately.

Prices for every plan and pack are on the pricing page.

What counts as a fresh audit

A fresh audit pulls new data from the ad platform and analyzes it; it’s what uses a credit. It counts only once it completes, so an audit that fails doesn’t count. Opening, filtering or exporting an audit you’ve already run, or asking Roger AI about it, doesn’t count either. We check against the audit history on your account.

Cancelling a monthly plan

  1. Sign in to AuditRoger and open Billing & credits.
  2. Choose Manage billing to open Stripe’s customer portal.
  3. Cancel your subscription there.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the paid period, then your account moves to the Free plan. We don’t refund unused time in the current period, except as described below. Your past audits stay in your account.

If you can’t get to Billing & credits, email hello@auditroger.com from your account email and we’ll cancel for you.

Monthly plans

Your first payment. If a monthly plan isn’t right for you, ask within 7 days of your first payment. We refund it in full if you’ve used no more than one fresh audit.

Renewals. If a renewal went through that you meant to cancel, ask within 48 hours of the renewal charge. We refund it in full if you haven’t used any fresh audits in the new period, that is, since the renewal.

Everything else. Outside those windows, monthly payments aren’t refundable, and there are no partial refunds for unused time or unused credits. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period.

Single Account

Single Account is a one-time payment for one ad account for 30 days. You can have a full refund within 7 days of purchase if:

  • you haven’t run a fresh audit, or
  • an audit fails to generate and we can’t fix it.

If an audit fails, tell us: many failures are fixed by reconnecting the account or by a fix on our side, and a failed audit never uses a credit.

Credit packs

A credit pack can be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase if none of its credits have been used. Used credits aren’t refundable. When we refund a pack, its credits are removed from your account.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Email hello@auditroger.com from the email address on your AuditRoger account, so we can find the payment and know the request is yours.
  2. Tell us what you’d like refunded (the plan or credit pack, and the date you paid).
  3. We reply within two business days to confirm the refund or explain why it doesn’t qualify.

The 7-day and 48-hour windows run from the time of the charge on your Stripe receipt to when your email reaches us.

How refunds are paid

  • Refunds go back to the original payment method. We can’t send them to a different card or account.
  • They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • We charge and refund in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your card issuer converts the amount, so the refund on your statement can differ from the original charge because of exchange-rate changes or the issuer’s own fees. Those differences are outside our control.

What happens to your access

  • A refunded subscription ends once it’s cancelled. If a subscription payment is refunded in full and the subscription is cancelled, or set to cancel, access to the plan ends immediately, not at the end of the period, and your account moves to the Free plan. When you ask for a refund, cancel in Billing & credits too, or ask us to cancel it for you. A subscription that is refunded but not cancelled keeps running and renews as normal.
  • A refunded Single Account purchase ends the plan immediately too.
  • Your past audits stay in your account unless you ask us to delete your data (see data deletion).

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. It’s faster, and anything that qualifies under this policy we’ll refund. Disputes are handled by hand through Stripe, not automatically: we review each one and respond to your bank. If a chargeback is filed for a payment that was authorized and used, we may cancel the subscription or close the account.

Your rights and this policy

This policy doesn’t limit any right to a refund you have under law that can’t be waived. It forms part of our terms of service. We may update it; changes apply to payments made after the “Last updated” date above.
