Send a pre-flight link to a client
Collect a client's numbers before you connect anything, link the pre-flight to their ad account, and grade audits against their own target.
A pre-flight is a form your client fills in before you touch their account. They answer what only they know, and AuditRoger works out the target their account is graded against.
What the client answers
- Their business, and what counts as a result
- The numbers they already know: sale value, margin and close rate, plus returns and fulfilment costs for online stores
- What happens after an enquiry, and what has been tried before
- Where the traffic goes, who holds the logins, and what the ads may and may not say
Every figure question shows an example answer. Only the essentials are required, such as the business, what it sells, sale value and margin. Clients can skip the rest.
Send one
- Open Pre-flight in the app.
- Create a link for the client and copy it.
- Send it however you like. The client doesn't need an account.
- Their answers appear in Pre-flight as they're submitted.
- On the client's row, choose their ad account under Grades which account. Until you do, it reads Not linked — target unused, and audits keep using a general benchmark.
Revoke a link
Choose Revoke link on the client's row. The link stops working straight away, so the client can't open or change the questionnaire. Answers already submitted stay in Pre-flight.
How the target is used
Once the pre-flight is submitted and linked to an ad account under Grades which account, Google Ads audits of that account (and Meta audits, once Meta Ads opens) grade it against the client's target instead of a generic benchmark. They only do so when the target is in the account's currency and was worked out from enough answers. When it isn't used, the report says why.
